Smile kinetix install

hi, i've recently purchased a plenum kinetix and had a question on the install
do i need to buy a gasket and does the factory gasket work?
the plenum currently has some burnt looks like a cork gasket, but is about to rip off.
i bought a used plenum v4 for 150 bucks
could anyone tell me what i need to do this install? thanks again

NOTE: i started the car not knowing it was in gear and i hit a concrete wall pretty hard. my car has that 3M guard on the front bumper and not a single scratch. i was amazed. i strongly recomment that if you dont already have one ^^

I believe the stock gasket is good..HOWEVER...i think you need to double up on gaskets (recommended to me by doug from crawford Z, im assuming that the same applies for kinetix), which means you have to order one at the dealership. Some dealerships actually have it in stock! I recommend that you take it to AXIOM to get it installed and ask for Jun. He installed my crawford plenum with no problems! Hope this helps..

It was very counter-intuitive, so I tried it with just 1 gasket at first. It leaked. Slapped on 2, and it was fine...weird...

You can do it yourself if you have a 10mm socket and a screwdriver. It's really very easy.
