Default 2006 Northwest Z/G Get Together (vote here)

Let's do this the democratic way; here are the options that have been presented so far. Let's run this thread for a week or two and make a decision based on feedback.

What do you wanna do for a Pacific NW Z & G Summer Meet?

Just to let everyone know, I plan on having a BBQ after the first Z/G meet. I think it will be a good way for everyone to meet each other. So anyways, I vote karting

Sounds like we could possibly do a double event in one day. We could go karting in the AM (Sykart in Tukwila opens at 11:30AM on Saturdays) and then caravan over to W1 for a BBQ. That way if karting isn't your thing then you can just meet us at W1 for lunch (or dinner). While were in West Seattle we can drive over to Alki Point and take a group photos w/ the Seattle skyline as the background.

I just realized something; the option to do an Auto-X or HPDE should really be Auto-X only. I forgot that you need to attend a performance driver's school before you are allowed to participate in an HPDE. That's the rule for Pacific Raceways and I think for most of the clubs that hold HPDE's in Bremerton.

I'm too big for those carts, but I'll try again. I'm game anytime but the 10th.

My vote was for the BBQ, but if Hova's gonna have one anyway after the meet, then I'm down for karting or whatever.

So, any idea of when this might go down? I'm trying to plan my trip over to Seattle, hopfully sometime in July, so if it works out, I can plan around the meet.

I say we have a central location somewhere in nthe middle and meet up a a big park or another place and throw a Big A$$ BBQ. some where in between seattle and olympia would be great theres lots of places to do a BBQ at.

Just an idea we could do it at solor point right on the water plenty of parking hardly anyone there.

Good idea!

I'm all for a nice drive and BBQ but not go-kart. Whats the point of driving in go-karts when we already have our own cars to rip around in? AutoX is a good idea too but not everyone's into that....yet. I think it'll be cool to have our own little 'tail of the dragon' Pacific NW.
