I'm in the process of upgrading the audio in my Z. Can anybody recommend a good/great installer in the Vancouver/Portland area.

i can tell you who NOT to go to.. Car Toys (down town)

 

Car Toys on 102nd and halsey in portland are all punks. Every time I go in there I get mad at the sales people. And they did a horrable job installing cd player in my cuda' Butt conectors everywhere. I have never had such bad service.

it seems like the installers are generally the same type of people that live in the surrounding area (not always good)

as far as *** ( i mean "butt" connectors" thats all i have ever seen in a mass productivity) type of retail store

where can you go for QUALITY work? (like soldered joints)

my install was complete crap and cant get money back (almost $500) i could have done better myself for 1/3 cost (down town location)

My dad got a cd player and new door speakers installed at car toys in beaverton a few years ago and they cracked his door panel. When we confronted the manager he said that we were lieing and that the door panel was already cracked. The cracks were do to over tightening the screws at they just installed. What a joke!!!! I am so done with car toys.
