WOW!

Sounds like a lot of guys from the Northwestnissans.com. Should we make a plan to get together w/ them and all roll in together?

Are you a member there? I know they started a thread about the meet (I just responded to it), but there aren't a lot of posts on it yet. They always have a good turnout when they have meets.

Default The real deal

Hi my name is Sam and I'm the one whos organizing the drive. If you guys ever clicked the official thread link you'd know that the drive originated as a clubsi deal. I posted it on NASIOC since i've done several group drives with them & wanted to return the favor, and then asked my friend Ed (realchaos1) to post it on his website Nissan Pacific, and it kind of took off from there. I have no idea who posted it on Northwest Nissans, I am not a fan of that website. The gymkhana idea fell through but Next year there will be one, its going to cost money since I need to rent a few cones and get event insurance. The gymkhana will be held at the lower "White Salmon" ski lodge parkinglot, the same lot that Chuckanut Sports Car Club hosts a Father's Day auto-x at every year. I missed the March deadline of advance-notice to the ski area and USFS this year.

We're up to about sixty cars right now and more people adding all the time. I keep the ClubSi post updated constantly and go through and update NASIOC and the Myspace event once in awhile, and people who've posted elsewhere (RX7Club, Supraforums, e30tech, r3vlimited, mr2oc, Nissan Pacfic) generally update them. I think the Original Poster here will be getting around to it shortly.

Click the Clubsi 'official' link and you'll find all the names alphabetized. I don't have a lot of your guys names. I'm asking everyone to post their screen name/"real" First name, their car and a short description of their car. Passengers dont matter to me but if you have another person coming that's driving let me know their name/sn/car/desc. too Thanks guys, and look forward to seeing you all very soon!

I believe my offical status is "Club Guest" on NWN. It was an assumption on my part since I saw so many Nissans and thought I recognized some names.

Speaking of crew, do teams get sponsored more often than individuals? I know it would attract more attention in car shows if more than 1 car was sponsored by the same company.

I'm not part of any crew, so I don't know how the sponsorship stuff works, but my buddy Randy is the head of the STFU crew, so if you want to know about that kind of stuff, PM me and I can try to get you some answers from him. Are you going to HIN?

Looks like I'll be in Seattle for a training course the 26-29th, so I might make this event. Sounds like it'll be a good-sized group and a great drive.
