This weekend is looking a little iffy because I have family in town for the holidays. I wish it was closer to my neck of the woods because I could get away for an evening no problem, but making the trip up there later in the evening means staying overnight... I've been itching to go back to Sykart... Do they have the 9hp karts in WA?

Yep, they have the 9HP ones, but I think we'd all be running the 6HP ones to make things fair and more entertaining.

I'll still be there. However, my car is no more. Gone. Destroyed. Taken to heaven by the Car Gods who demand sacrifice.

I'M SO ****ING PISSED I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. I STILL HAVE THE ENGINE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN BUYING. APS TT KIT. NOTHING'S WRONG WITH IT AS FAR AS I KNOW SO FAR . . . . . . . . .

I was in the middle of Oregon where it was cold and icy. TT does NOT like slick roads . . . . . . I pushed the car a bit (going from like 70 or so), rear end just broke loose . . . I tried letting the car drift, but hit the median and the car sorta did some aerial maneuvers and rolled upside-down into the giant median (which was like a giant patch of grass that sloped down.

I don't know how I made it out of there alive. The only thing that's been going through my head for the past few hours was the moment between when the *** end broke loose, and when I was facing the ceiling.

All I knew was my instincts kicking in and me frantically crawling outta the car. The driver's side window was shattered, so it let me climb out.

The engine is fine when I inspected it. The oil pan broke though. We're gonna salvage my car, and see if there's anything that can be done. If the frame/chassis in still intact, I might go for an all carbon-fiber setup. I still don't know though.

I'm just happy that my engine is OK and that I'm alive.

Thanks for everyone's concern. I was gonna go pick up a girl I haven't seen in a while and bring her to the meet but unfortunately I might have to take my stepfather's car instead.

I still hope to see you all. What's the use of breaking down psychologically and crying? I call my Z's state a "temporarily out of commission." >__<

Thanks for the concern everyone. Again, drive safe. This gonna sound stupid old, but if you have a crapload of power, use it carefully. My car was even tuned conservatively . . . . . . but yeah.

For the 2 days I had her back, it was the most exhilarating experience ever. Worth the money? Definitely. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. When? When I get some more CAAAAAASH saved up hahahaha.

Peace

Wow... That sounds crazy. I too flipped my old Z at about those same speeds and ended up upside down (2003 SB Touring). It's amazing what you can walk away from in that car. Glad you're ok.

The car is going to come back. And when it does it's going to be even more of a monster.

I hate Oregon right now. It's like the Washington-wannabe but with crappier roads and colder weather.

psycho...!!! is your car totalled? sounds like you were able to walk away from the accident unscathed... there's this other guy in the forum who totalled his car (one of the worst ones ever) and walkd away with minor bruises and concussion. are you still getting a Z next? '07 model?

I'm gonna be there tonight at 8PM. Who else is planning on coming? We'll wait up for everyone to arrive so we can all race in the same heat.

Hey all, I'm strongly considering showing up. Is the idea 8pm for food and racing at ~8:30? I'll probably have already had dinner, which is why I'm asking. (=
