Default parking tickets in Seattle

anyone tried contesting a parking ticket? i know if i don't pay i wont be able to renew my tabs. i got a $25 ticket and was only 2min past the expiry time. any ideas?

if you fight it, the court costs will be at least 15$ and your time, just pay the ticket, and to make yourself feel better cover some parking meters with apoxy late at night (just the area that displays time left).

Tsk, tsk, tsk... Speeding tickets?? Parking Tickets??? And it's not even been a year. You and that Z of yours are a menace to society.

Consider the $25 as part of the "tax" of owning a Z. Had you been driving a Toyota Camry would the Metermaid have paid as much attention to you? Dunno. But what I've noticed is that by driving a more "visible" car, you tend to get the attention of local law enforcement more than others. I've gotten my fair share of tickets too because I stood out. It's unfortunate but something we have to live with.

Dkorr - pay the ticket...it's hard enough getting out of a wrongfully issured ticket and like stated above, probably not worth your time.
