DIY is the only way to go. If you don't have acces to a hose, use a rinseless wash such as QEW or ONR with 2 5 gallon buckets

Ooo, you really don't want to do that. Swirls in your paint, god who knows what in those brushes and bristles hitting your car... not good. Noooot gooood.

Seriously, DIY. And good products make a world of different. I'm personally about to step up a level and go with a clay bar.

I wouldn't trust a cheap place to wash my car (scratches, swirls, missed spots, detached rubber trims, etc). They probably don't care about your car even half as much as you do.

If you have the time, you should do it yourself. It takes me about 30-45 minutes (including drying); a little more if I do the wheels. I don't consider it a chore at all. I find it pretty relaxing, actually, and I feel satisfied when I'm done.

DIY is the only way to go. Unless you're not concerned w/ the way your car's finish looks.

As far as brushless carwashes... I heard there is one in Bothell (10-15min) from Lynnwood but I don't know exactly where it is. There is another one on Edmonds way but except as you enter the carwash they have those strips of heavy cloth hanging down at the entrance and they would probably leave marks on the paint.

As far as DIY - Z is really small. I usually wash it in about 30min.

We should pull together a Z Car Wash with some hot chicks in bikinis.

Goal A for summer. Then we move on from there.
