I see Z's/G's all the time. It seems like the crowed has dramatically changed. I dont want to profile, but none of them look like car enthusiasts. When I see tastefully modded ones, they roll their damn black dark tinted windows and act conceited. It seems like the Z community has grown smaller and not as friendly as back in 05-06-07-08. Is it only me?

i had a red 03-05 take off on my yesterday in Kent off washington.... tried to pull up to give a knod but he didnt want to say hi

I'm pretty friendly when it comes to anything, no matter what I'm driving in, or what I see driving. If I see something I like, I generally nod or wave. Doesn't matter if I'm in my Z, my EG, or my SC, lol

 

I work and live in the kent and always see a white 370z with powder coated black rims, with a My350z.com logo on his window. I once waved from my Ls400.

 

I have made a lot of friends throughout the years thanks to being a car fanatic. I always acknowledge other people with tastefully moded cars. The Z/G community was small and I dont include people who JUST owned the car as means of transportation. However, in recent years, the community has become convoluted with "riced" out Z's/G's that just stain the rep of the car. I tried being friendly with another Z guy a while back when I had my VW corrado as I asked what he had done on his 03-05 model. The dude shouted "a lot more than your stupid dub"!!! I was like "WTF"??!!! I miss my Z tho but for what it was as a car not for what other people though of it, or any other "perks" as some may call it that came with it.

 

I agree...I miss our group of humble enthusiasts that used to hang out and take a drive just to go get a burger. I too have seen people that have let the cars go to their heads and they thing now their **** don't stink. I miss my Z too. But I think I miss our meets more.

 

I still keep in touch with a few people from the old days on FB. It is interesting to note that only a fraction of them have kept their cars. Anyways, i do miss the good ol' group.

 

The meets at joes and going to teddy and stuff were all good times ): its sad we don't do them anymore or that most of the group doesn't keep in contact

Some OG's stopping in here the last couple of days. Someone set up a meet.....I'll actually take the Z out and wash it.....going to need to blow off the cobwebs.
