Don't you mean "gold" brakes... as in Brembo... which are stock on G37S ??

G37S has silver calipers, and aren't Brembo. Gold Brembos only came as an option on 03-04 G35 coupes.

Yup. Dunno where you got the idea that Gold Brembo's come on the G37S.

Not haven driven a G for the past couple of years, I made an incorrect assumption that they were still Brembo's.
Not sure it was a good idea on Infiniti/Nissan's part to go away from Brembos since they were more problem-free than the non-Brembo brake systems, ie. premature wear of pads and warped rotors. Hopefully they learned something through that.

These aren't their "regular" brake systems. Its an Akebono brake kit, so far I've had no problems & I don't really expect to see any at this point.

Saw AlvinHuyN's Z coming east on 520 today around 8:30 am... I was driving in the opposite direction and that car caught the corner of my eye.
