How many modded ones do you see though? I've seen about 10 around Bellevue/Kirkland and ZERO were modded at all.

Ferrari aftermarket ain't no joke. Mods can equal the cost of the car.

I don't count wheels as serious mods. But that is just me.

I lived in Kirkland from '89 till '02. When I went to Finn Hill Jr. High or Juanita HS., we didn't have that many wealthy people around except for people who lived near water. Now days, there are plenty of younger n older rich folks roam in down town k-town. It's crazy how things change so quickly. My friend Peter bought his water front house in down town k-town in 70's for 75K and it's worth at least a mill now... I see at least one or two exotics like Ferrarri or Bently everytime driving on Lk. WA Blvd.

But, there are plenty of rich folks with exotics in Samammish, Bellevue, Seattle area. I've seen a couple of Ferrarris, and even Carrera GT. I also saw a SLR in Belltown last week. I also saw a F430 on I-5 north in slow lane driven by an old Asian dude. He was going exactly 60... What a waste...

As for the Hawks, their head quarter is still in K-town for now. They will be moving to Renton water front facility soon as it is done. Many of them live there, Redmond, Newcastle, Issaquah, Samammish, and Bellevue area.

I must say, I am jealous but it's not a bad idea to have a Japanese import which can dust them exotics. It's a lot cheaper... Maybe because I'm Japanese....

Oh well, I will have to work harder to get to where they are at... I'm gonna get there and ship over 1000hp GT-R R34, and dust all of them.... under 9 sec. 1/4 mi. with no nitrous!!

Man I LIVE in Sammamish and I haven't seen that many exotics. LOTS of Porsches and Bimmers, M3's and M5's, but no insane number of Lambos or Ferraris.

Purple Passion loves her loneliness! Makes her feel special!

Saw one F430 at the Toy Run, and a couple of Ford GT's here on the island, and that it.

Saw a couple of Enzo's on a flatbed in Japan at the registration office one day. Damn near fainted...

Clyde Hill & Medina = Ballers. Currently starting a house in Clyde Hill, one in Medina, one on Mercer Island and one in Beaux Arts (near Enatai in Bellevue). All of those neighborhoods are baller status. I always see nice cars there too.

Well, I wish my GT-R was 1000HP R34 but it's not... Mine is like Mark's (R33) and 720hp at 1.5 bars (about 20 psi I think). It is like 500 right now (1 bar). I don't want it to break... It is a '96. I was hoping I could build a R34 v-spec some day if I could afford it. R34 V-specs are still like 40K+ used and hard to find compared to mine which was pretty much competely build with about 25K miles for around 30K. Only things I have added are Recaros and rollcage.

But, someday Eric, someday....

Here are some pics... That's my wife. She'll be there for Roslyn Run2..

My parents now lives in Sammamish (right by Evergreen Jr. High). I've seen Carrera GT on that street to go to Red-Fallcity Rd. I think it's 244th?. I've seen a F430 near there before as well. I actually took pix with my phone but they are all gone... I dropped it in a toilet....

Wow I went to both of those schools too! I actually didn't like my experience at them all that much... made a lot more friends in college with people who treated me with much more respect. I hear you on the Kirkland history though... I have been here since 1992 and it was no where like this back in the 90s. It just seems like all this new money has sprung up in the past 4-5 years and so many rich people have moved in, or people who have lived here have run into quite a bit more money. Whatever the reason, you're right, it ain't the water adjacent folks riding around in high end vehicles anymore. Seems BMWs are the norm, and if you want to be somebody special you have to own a Bent, Ferrari, AM, etc...
