Default Twin Turbo rear emblem: Yes or No?

For all of you who have seen my car, please help me out.

For those who have not, please look HERE and help me out.

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....=1#post3892242

Anyways . . . . my goal for my car is to have that "stealth fighter" look to it. So far, all of my mods have come to fruition and the goods have been delivered so far. APS TT setup, hidden from the untrained eye. Blacked-out intercooler. Mesh grill to hide even more. Test Pipes, and straight pipes right after using stock tips - extreme flow with extreme loudness, yet doesn't show anyone it's aftermarket by any means.

The ONLY thing I have that gives me away are my fender "Z Twin Turbo" emblems. But I wanted those who take the time to check out my car up close in person to know the truth . . . . that it's just not your average 240whp Z.

Therefore I'm not sure whether I should add a Twin Turbo Z emblem on my rear . . . . you've all seen MaximumsportZ's car, and a few others I'm sure. Those emblems look sick and are very clean.

It's not a matter of giving anything away for me right now, but whether my shaved hatch will look better without ANYTHING.

So guys . . . . I'm seeing what everyone has to say.

Thanks

Personally I think you should just take off your front bumper and grill and get a HUGE fmic and display it. Maybe take off the hood and duct tape another FMIC on top of that with full tubing. People will get the idea =)

But no on the emblem... just the Z would look cleaner. But I dont think either way is going to make a huge difference. You could always get it, put it on and see if you like it... if not take it off.

That's like $70 dollars lol . . .

Hmmm I think I'll go badgeless for a while, maybe I'll get bored and badge it, then get sick of that and take it off . . . . lol.

My car isn't as godly as RSX. I cannot do that. It would be like trying to pretend my car is on the same level as Hondas. I will not be a PRETENDER.

I have never understood the need to advertise what you have. It is better to pleasantly surprise someone than to advertise to the world you have a TT under the hood...

I would leave it off. The only time I like custom emblem is when it's something unique to your car or like NitrousZ's 420Ztt emblem...thats just ill!

IMO an understated, low key, clean ride says much more than a car declaring what mods are done to it; If I had tons of $$, I'd do a few simple exterior mods that flow well, and look somewhat close to stock (rims, lip/molded body kit, low profile wing, tint...).

There are no sleepers anymore, thats just the truth. If I see a loud car coming up in the rear view, I wont think its a sleeper even if it has nothing under the hood. The BOV's give it away, the body kits give it away, the loud test pipes give it away etc etc... I think if you keep the car with OEM look and have a monster motor with twins under the hood with like a Nismo exhaust, then you would surprise the hell out of me. If you like the look of that twin turbo emblem, just get it who cares, it'll look good either way.

Well yeah there are SOME sleepers... but the Z isn't quite on the platform of a "sleeper" i guess it depends on who you talk to.

Im going to black out my FMIC on the vette with my STS TT kit... and make myself a sleeper... no1 will know its fast... haha

Take the damn black paint off ur IC and let that thing shine

Dont badge it. I feel like turbo badges are only appropriate if a car is stock (and comes with a turbo/set of turbos obviously). Declaring your mods on the ouside of your car is ricey.
