State Farm Auto Insurance Rate Hike
Geico FTW, 24 paying 131/month full coverage with almost everything maxed out payout wise and 500 deductible.
I had state farm for about 3 years and every year the rate would increase it was bs. I also have a perfect record with no claims of any kind. I think geico saves a ton because they are online based and not individually office based. So far their customer service has been awesome to me.

State Farm FTW. They covered my race tires and wheels when they were stolen on the way to Topeka two years ago.
The tires and wheels were locked to the trailer, and the trailer was locked to the car.
Moral of the story: Bring the tires and wheels inside with me even though it's a pain in the backside -- or just sleep in the car on the trip.

State Farm rates better in overall customer satisfaction in every single category, from price to claims handling. No wonder why it's the largest insurance company in the United States, insuring more cars than Gieco, Allstate, and Progressive combined. Call me for a quote if you live in CT! haha

I have a 2007 GSX-R1000 that cost me $81.00 a month.
next year when I turn 25 my GSX-R1000 will drop to $31.00 a month.
You think statefarm over charges? hahahhaha Allstate wouldn't even come close.
Geico wanted something like $4000 a year as with progressive. just for 1 bike.
As far as my 2003 Z, 2004 TL, 2002 CBR, 2007GSXR, renters insurance, sub health coverage, and towing on all, I pay low 300s a month. that's at 24 and single.
I love my statefarm policy, Come next year it should be under or around 200 for all 4. we'll see.
Guys, these insurance threads always go the same way. There are so many variables and different companies weigh different variables differently. A big factor is where you live so that cuts off real comparisons with others. I moved just 25 miles a few years back and my insurance dropped 1/3 with the same company. That's just one example.
Other variables are age, sex, tickets, accidents, credit score, other cars, amount of coverage, amount of deductibles, mileage driven, business use, other people covered, linked to home or boat, year of car, model, after-market parts, and blanket liability coverage. In other words your twin living next door with the same insurance company could have a different rate than you do.
You can compare reputations of companies and how well they treat you when you need them. But, compare prices for yourself. Then shop for a good local agents that remembers your name(they are hard to find). A conscientious agent can steer you on how to structure your policy to get the most bang for the buck. It never hurts to shop around every couple years and if you find the same coverage cheaper, confront your agent before you switch. If they can match it, tell your agent it's his/her job to keep up on it for you and you don't want it to happen again.
Insurance always seems to go up except when a big variable disappears like age, accidents, or driving record. I had a new Pathfinder and the insurance went up every year for 10 years with a clean record.

Just switched to Allstate from ESurance, went from 2000 / 6 months for 2 cars 2 drivers full coverage to $1440/6 months just by switching, & I have higher coverage with Allstate. I have 1 "at fault" accident on record & no tickets. Wife has clean record. I'm 21, she's 22. Not a bad price IMO. Geico & Progressive were both much higher.
