Default Anyone know how to remove the stock plenum ?

Hey guys,

My plenum has some spots that are discolored. I want to take it off and repaint it a gunmetal color with high heat engine enamel. I can paint no problem but I need some help uninstalling and reinstalling the plenum. Can anyone help? Thanks

Alvin

Alvin, let me know if you need help...I've taken off the plenum a few times.

*I've painted mine...but it's not too good; I'd be interested to see how yours turns out.

If you're already taking it off, you might want to consider shaving down the front intake runners on the lower plenum (it's what the MD Mrev plenum is).

that shop that i was telling you about next to my dad's warehouse, is called powdercoating something (can't remember the last name of it). It is located in mukilteo. I have ripped off the plenum many times now, if you did want help with it.
