does the rev-up vs the 287hp motor matter? Also, I got some supporting mods as well.

Yeah you should have more HP/psi than me but not by too much . . . . maybe 10 if we're tuned on the same dyno and such?

Also every car is different some cars are retarded powerful like Dubai made 430whp at 9.5psi or something and like 450@10.5psi.

I first made 396whp @ 8.5psi but my tuner also lacked the skills that Sam has . . . and I'm on Unichip.

Z Car Garage @ San Jose.

On a side note, never take your car to them.

It will probably be that long, or longer, unfortunately.

Let me update the front page.

UPDATE:

1. icedoutis (Drew w/UTEC)
2. Devil Z (Miluo w/F-Con VPro)
3. Nismo350ZRT (maybe)
4. iamdigital (maybe)

Well my friends.. bad news, I am afraid I will not be able to get tuned, as Sam feels that since I have had a few problems with my install process and with my car, it would not be wise for him to tune it offsite. Totally understandable as I have had many MANY problems on this journey to FI.

Either way, finally have all the kinks worked out now and the tune I recieved seems to be holding pretty well, no knock and A/F is lookin good.

Sorry guys.

Guess I'll run it with this tune till it blows (knocks on wood)

he is next to impossible to get ahold of...will try again tomorrow...on a side note. Just added a few more things to my build, and you guys might be interrested as well. Added the koyo radiator, samco hoses, nismo thermostat, and the rear coolant bypass system. http://www.forgedperformance.com/store/home.php?cat=316 is a link to the radiator and bypass system.

The coolant bypass is the same as the bypass that came with my motordyne plenum spacer right? Basically bypasses the coolant that heats the throttle body?

I'm gonna get a bigger Radiator. Also the GTM 14" Shroud Fan kit is something you can DYI and get some more cooling.

Drew, I'll give Sam a call tomorrow. Surprisingly, I've never had a problem getting a hold of him . ..

I was about to go built until this tuning scenario came to my attention. Now, I'm kinda stuck waiting for this. I'd like to get tuned and drive around while the weather is still nice and then do my build in the winter.

Anybody else thinking about getting a Haltech? I can't wait.

Well I'm gonna call Drift Office because I already paid for everything and I wouldn't mind paying for Sam's flight up here even if it's by myself . . .

All I need to do is rent their Dyno for a day.

I don't get it. If all the kinks have been worked out, then what could possibly stop you from doing some tuning? It's a constant process, not something where you "set it and forget it."

I opened up the SS box and dynotuned it myself (with my friend) using R4 software. Did the install myself as well, with the same friend. He did most of the work on this Vortech kit I have now, though. I no longer have the Stillen. Same buddy installed the Stillen kit on the buyer's car.

Well, Sam doesnt think it would be wise to tune offsite, which is true, I wouldnt risk tuning my car if I was in his shoes, ive had so many problems with this install.

At the moment im looking for a shop locally that can check out my install and verify it is fine, as well as fix this mysterious exhaust leak I cant seem to find. (exhaust manifolds im guessing)

Sent emails to worldone/intec/illtech, waiting for bob from driftoffice to get back intown on tuesday.. he is my #1 choice I think

What does he mean by "offsite?" Is that anything away from the GTM facility? If so, that's a bit silly. Drift Office is running the same dyno that GTM is. He can bring his own laptop and/or software too, if he feels necessary.

I'm running 375whp@10psi on the crappy 91 octane map. A/F at WOT drops down to 9.6 but I don't get any black smoke out the pipes. It still runs pretty damn strong though.
