Default Seattle Auto Show

SORRY GUYS I DON'T HAVE PICS! My camera's battery was dead and I can't find the charger for the life of me, however, I will share my thoughts on a few of the cars talked about on here a lot.

Audi S5 - Exterior looks good. Interior is a disappointment. The pictures look a lot better than it does in real life. I like the G37S Interior more.

Audi R8 - Not much to say other than PURE SEXINESS! WOW I LOVE EVERYTHING about it...

Porsche 997 Turbo - Exterior gorgeous. Interior..... HUGELY disappointed. My first time in a Porsche 911 of any kind and I DEFINITELY did not feel like I was sitting in $150k worth of car.

S2000CR - Awesome little car. The seats are VERY supportive, shifter is PERFECT. I would love it as a track car.

Infiniti EX35 - Got to see it in person. Black w/ Wheat interior. Gorgeous interior, exterior is nice but the concept was better looking. Still a VERY attractive car. I think I would opt for the FX, though if I were in that market.

Acura MDX - Love it. FX & MDX are very close to me, but the MDX is larger with a 3rd row seat. MDX > BMW X5 for sure.

Mercedes S550 - Gorgeous exterior. Always loved it. Interior is about on par with a BMW 750iL, which in my opinion isn't really up to par. Not for the amount of money you're spending at least. I would never purchase one.

Lexus LS600H L - I absolutely LOVE everything about this car. The front headlights are fricken HOT! The interior room is INSANE. Everything is power controlled. The fit & finish on everything is TOP NOTCH. No other car I sat in felt this refined. Just by playing with the ***** & all the little things in it I can see why the LS600H is so nice. If I was in the market for a car in this class, this would be my choice 100% of the time.

Corvette Z06 - Sweet exterior as everyone knows already. I have one thing to say to Porsche 911 Owners ... The interior in the Z06 is about on par with the 911 Turbo, which isn't saying much but I don't see what the complaint is about the "cheap interior". The seats felt more comfortable to me in the Vette than in the Porsche. Overall, I like the car.

Lexus IS-F - Looks much better in person. In the pictures it looks longer than it does in real life. Definitely a nice looking car. Interior looked beautiful as well (they didn't let anyone in, it was up on a platform).

Overall, My favorite cars are in the Lexus & Infiniti line up. From strictly a performance standpoint, obviously the Porsche & the Vette would be good choices, but Interior & comfort are very important to me as well. The Infiniti cars & Lexus cars shine the most IMO. BMW & Mercedes to me are a disappointment, especially their flagships.

My favorite cars at the show were a few Aston Martins, a Ferrari 599GTB & a Rolls Royce Phantom Convertible. But nobody was allowed to even though them.

The Audi R8 was definitely my favorite coupe and the Lexus IS-F was my favorite sedan. I agree about the Honda S2000CR...I was really impressed with it. Overall, the show was good but not great.

I'm looking forward to the motorcycle show next month.

I'm going to go check it out tomorrow, and I'll have a full battery in my camera, so I'll make up for V's FAIL.
