Default my altima is going to need some help

ok, i put my Z's stock rims on my 06 altima, and the result is gorgeous. However, the rear tires rub. So where can i go and get them rolled. any referal would be appreciated. I had my windows tinted recently, thanks to dkorr, who referred me to this guy at Skyline tinitng. The dude did meticulous job. now i need help - someone who can take care for the altima. i will snap couple of shots tomorrow, so you can see what i am talking about. Thanks

We've had this discussion in the NW before, and never came up with a good answer. Basically you just have to do it yourself.

rub like bad rub or rub like if you were to take off the 245 and put a 225 on it like the fronts you could possibly get away with it? ill ask a few of my VW friends because they are all about rolling fenders... im sure they would know

well, i was thinking about it, but first of all the tires are brand new, and second 225 would look tooooooo stretched. however, if i roll the fenders it will resolve the rubbing issue, and yeah it rubs quite alor especially when there is a third person in the car, dont wanna think if there were four. also, this is my mothers car, and she has been telling me about this for a while, and i promised her to take care for the rubbing preoblem, so i will have to find someone to roll them.

Instead of a 45 series tires, go with a 40. That should help. Lowering will add on some negative camber which also helps. Switch the rims around. Put the rims that were on the front of the 350Z in the REAR. Put the rims that were in he rear of the 350Z in front. For some odd reasons, the rear tires look beefier then the front in those pictures..

there is a thing called a fender rolling machine or whatever.
some people also use a baseball bat and roll the fender in REALLY REALLY slowly, it takes along time so you dont crack the paint.

i will look ugly, because the 350 has staggered rims/tires. The rears are 245, and the front are 225. so swapping of the front rims with the rears will move the rubbing issue to the front, and it will rub while turning. so i am going to roll the fenders.

I'm trying to understand why you would put wider rubber in the rear when the Altima is a front wheel drive... aside from looks, there will be no real advantage.
Am I missing or misunderstanding something (??)

because i had the rims sitting in my garage, and (this is my mother's altima) the altima needed new tires + i like the way it looks.(before it had hub caps)
