DSG is on the R8, I am not sure what other models. It is also used in the Lamborghini Gallardo's E-Gear (I believe they are the same thing).

It is basically TWO clutches that are electronically controlled. One is for the odd gears, the other for the even gears. So when you shift, you don't really clutch in/out. You basically "change clutches" instantly. That's why it's so damned fast.

yeah - I thought it said somewhere that it shifts faster than people...getting closer to F1!!
