My buddy needs a mega detail on the interior of his car, so I'm looking for recommendations. I know most of the guys here are DIY, but he's looking for seat extraction, shampooing, all surfaces (on an xB), etc.
Suggestions?
Suggestions?
I had Accutint in Bellevue do my tinting and 3M clear bra install and I have to say they did a pretty lousy job for the price I paid. And they dripped dishwashing fluid all over the interior of my car and didn't bother to clean it up. I don't know if Seattle's operation is any different, but they use the same installers between the two shops.
Jim's Detail Shop (http://www.jimsdetail.com) has been in business a long time, sponsors the local motor sports racing events and I've heard a lot of good things about them. It was either them or Accutint when I had to make my choice, I should've gone w/ Jim's Detail Shop.

^ My impression is that their detail work may be overpriced. From what I found out later, I could have had the same work that they did on my car done for $200 less than what I paid. I was drawn to Accutint of Bellevue because they have a reputation of working on high priced cars. Maybe they take more time and make more of an effort when it's a Carrera GT, but as far as my Z, I was not satisfied by the quailty of work for what I paid.
Also when I called back to bring up the imprefections in the installation, the shop manager was conveniently away the 3 times I called. I eventually got tired and gave up.
