Meet Jan. 12th 7pm
Let's just say we should have more ROSLYN / ZEKE'S type cruise - good driving, good communication, and good food for everyone! To Joker and Z brotha, I feel your pain man...it sucks getting tickets that you don't even deserve. I know the feeling.
Roslyn cruise FTW!

DRAG DRIFT AND CIRCUIT ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! cops showed up only once outta all the times i went and just got out and talked to everyone...got some autographs and went on about there bussiness. to many of us to take to jail or ticket. and all the show guys in there trucks and rims parked in a parking lot and just showed off there stuff all the race teams did a run down the drag area to announce there arrival...and after that parked in an area together got out and the boss would set up races with other teams or we would just watch. afterwards so guys that would want to join our team and a few other teams would leave around dawn and go to a 24 hour restraunt and eat and discuss cars and racing etc. then each team would go there seprate ways and our team would just convoy back to the shop and start working on our cars again or washing them or just do whatever until the wifey wanted to go home! I will try and get some pix or videos posted up later tonite!
hahaha...yah i hated that movie and how they portrayed racing but anyway...some of the guys from my team said the police have joined forces to crack down on those big friday events...so yah when we race up near the DMZ we got busted by the police and the korean army...and if you ever go to you-tube and watch how the police and army treat unlawful gatherings you could only imagine how that went...me being the only forign guy there i wasn't worried so i was walking back to my car my wife on the otherhand is korean and she ran dead sprint to the car and was yelling at me out the window to start running...i didn't start running till i saw soldier come down on some guys knee with a baton...i thru my ciggy out and booked it to the car! needless to say everyone from my team got away unharmed but a few other people got it pretty bad from what we heard later that night. and keep in mind we tracked our cars religously...hitting the streets was just to scope the comp out...i mean my team owner didn't even have headlights on his ride...one side was a ram air to keep the turbo cool and the other was just a carbon cover...he had HID running lights mounted on the bottom of his front bumper...ever seen a 600+ horse tiburon...he had one...extremely hard to drive on the streets!!! he covered FF drag during events for us.

Best cruise ever.
i think its funny that u guy's had "teams" and "team owners" for street racing
if any of this did happen, u won't be able to pull it off in the US for long, cause the cops around here have more than 200 tickets in there little ticket booklets
the only way to pull off something like this in the states (high speed roll ons, drag racing, and whatever else) is to rent out an airport or something.

haha..teams and team owners...ok maybe i should specify more...team owners were also shop owners...we raced professional so thats why we had teams...and as a team we went to the street races to scope out the competition before the next event or to have fun. i know in america you could never do anything that big especially not with most of the cars they run on the streets...cause most small to moderate teams had to race on the streets with what they raced on the tracks...and in korea u gotta get emissions tests every 6 months and inspection every 6 months...u weren't even allowed to have wings or body kits on your car unless it came from the factory...but theres nothing money can't fix...ie pay off the inspection station owner...hahaha...i still had to remove the wing tho cause of the cameras there tho.

I guess I lived in the wrong part of Korea, cause I never saw anything like that going on. All the cars were riced out daewoo's and hyundai's. LOL

what part of korea did you live in? did u ever go to the races and if so which ones i.e. what prefecture? boss had a tib...that ran high 9's. there was alot of rice over there also. At the races there wasn't tho. alot of GTO's, Rx7's, supra's and G's. There where only a few Z's. the G's and Z's there where mildly tuned because of the high price from taxes. i have a few pictures of the Z's at some of the smaller races. most were just nismo tuned.
I lived in the Seoul area for a short while, but spent most of my time on the edge of Munsan up north.
I never saw **** for nice cars beside luxury barges in Seoul ... but I will admit that my exposure to the right areas was somewhat limited.
