Yeah, I like the solar orange from a distance. But up close, with all that pearl, I think it looks like.... well, it's not my cup of tea.

It certainly is an interesting color. I considered it for a while since '07 Zs in that color are cheaper than any others. It was just too much though. LeMans Sunset is easier on the eyes.

but, if you want a Z that stands out it is the color of choice!

When it gets closer we'll plan a pre-meet convoy like last year. Gyeah...

I don't know...the solar orange is 50/50 on me. Sometimes I like it, sometimes it looks too pastel. I bet it can look awesome when done right though. Any color can look right as long as it's not pink

Anyway as for the meet for sure I'm going. I love the GG meets, tons of cars and Z turn outs are great.

Would you guys be interested in a full meet for my350z & g35driver with meet up location, cruise to GG, then leaving GG for some food at a local restaurant? - I can set something like that up.

Isn't that what we pretty much did last year? Set it up! Northgate was a good meetup spot last year and we don't have to get back on the freeway to get to golden gardens

Here's an idea.... It's something that might take Wasuber's buy in too. I think I would be able to talk my wife into driving our Frontier to the NW Nissan meet. Wasuber has a Titan, hopefully he can talk his wife into doing the same. Wasuber and I can take a couple of propane grills (his, mine and whoever else would be willing to lend theirs). We can bring a cooler of meat to BBQ, fixings, coolers of drinks, I also have a 10x10 canopy we could use, chairs, etc.. All the stuff to have our own VQ group BBQ down there. We would ofcourse have to work out the logistics (at a later time if we get enough buy-in on this idea).

The issues I forsee concerning this idea:
- Weather; The end of March usually isn't the best time of year for BBQ, although last year was pretty good weather for the time of year.
- Would this infringe on what NWN is trying to do by selling food?
- 1 truck should be enough to get enough things for a group of 20 people, 2 trucks for a group of 40 people, would we need a 3rd truck since last year we drove down w/ a group of 40 people last time, this gathering seems to get bigger every year. Would someone else be able to get a Nissan truck to come along w/ our group? Does it have to be a Nissan truck?

Your thoughts?

I can have one of my friends drive my Titan, sounds cool, let me know what Alvin comes up with. A Northgate after dinner or lunch sounds fine too.

Just found this thread. Sounds like a pretty fun event; I'll definitely plan on going. I'll put some cash up for BBQ/drink stuff as well.
