Is that what you were trying to say?

EXACTLY! All the local wheel repair shops I talked to are 1) closed until monday (patience sux) 2) say they don't have a tool to take off the 5 point nut/allen socket wtf?

Is it safe to do this my self? Triple8Sol is ignoring my calls after the sale.

yes, it is easy to do yourself...my dad did it to my GT-S 2 times, once to polish it, and the other time to put zoop seal on it. It is really easy to do.

Jumping to conclusions and making wild accusations. Nice. Whatever happened to some patience and benefit of the doubt? Geezus. After you picked up the wheels, I hit the gym, crashed out early, and spent all of today up on the mountain.

In any case, I'm sorry to hear about this fitment issue. As someone else mentioned previously, it's really easy to remedy. I just got ahold of the guy that repaired the wheels. He apologizes, as he didn't realize the centers on this particular set had different pads/discs front/rear. He's willing to fix it for no charge, and said it should take less than an hour, since only 2 centers would need to be swapped around.

He's busy for the next few days, but should have time towards the end of next week. If it's ok with you, I'll give him your cell # and he can give you a call directly to make arragements. Just shoot me a PM with your name and cell phone # again, and I'll pass that info onto him.

Patrick/Triple8Sol; you asked me to give you i-trader feedback and delete my 'negative' posts about you, but you're still ignoring my calls and didn't even give me the guys number who supposedly will fix the rims.

I already payed a shop to fix what you lied to me about and IMO you should cover the bill if you want to maintain any sort of business respect, I've spoken with other members and this is exactly why they don't like to deal with you locally.

Ty/currency/Mill Creek's Most Wanted:

Gimme a break, kid. I already apologized for this mixup, which wasn't my fault, and which I had no idea about until you brought it up. I took responsibility for it as soon as I found out, and explained exactly how it would be handled at no cost and with minimal inconvenience to you. I already gave him the info you PM'ed me, just like I told you through PM. Left a vm yesterday and sent a text today.

Don't act like you didn't know the deal. It's clearly shown in my post above for everyone to see. So what more can I do at this moment? See where it says he'd be available later in the week? See where it says no charge? See where it says he'd call you? If you really did jump the gun and paid someone else to get it done before the end of the first following business day...uhhhh...wtf?

How can you seriously expect me to return your calls? I listened to the first 10 seconds of each of your last 2 vm's when I saw them popup, and deleted them before listening to the rest. Better than the alternative, where I feel like doing something stupid. You need to quit leaving me these ******** vm's where you come off sounding like a baby thug. For real...cut it out before I lose my patience. It's better I talk to you online where I can screen what I say. If we talk directly on the phone, I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose my temper.

I've done business with a ton of locals...I can name more than 10 off the top of my head. I'd love to hear who you've "supposedly" talked to. If you're going to try and come at me with that nonsense, you better back it up.

Wow get over your self scammer. You should of taken the iniative to make sure the problem you sold me for over $2,000 was fixed the first business day possible.

Keep pimpin it up with your friends at the mazda dealership, it's funny that you have a reputation among locals as being a dick.

fright not patrick, you can return my calls without threatning people you're 23 right? I see no reason why you can't answer your phone or respond to a voice mail or even give me the persons number who's supposedly responsible for repairing your mistake?

Patrick, you knew the wheels were mismatched when you sold them to me, when you attended dyno days and meets other members have told me they pointed out to you the offset difference.

Ty, when we met you, all agreed that you smelled of douchebaggery. In this thread, you proved us right, since you are truly a toolbox. When it comes to dealing with immature idiots, yes...I'm an asshole--it's no secret.

Maybe I should find a way to retrieve your vm's and transfer them to YouTube for everyone's amusement. Better yet, come out to the next meet so everyone can meet you for themselves, and fully enjoy the live experience.

Cliff Notes:
1.) currency delays the exchange by 2hrs in 30min. increments, and finally buys wheels from Triple8Sol for a STEAL @ $2240, lying transparently to get it down from the originally agreed upon price of $2400. (Fri. afternoon)
2.) Tire shop finds that they don't fit. (Fri. evening)
3.) currency jumps up/down, immediately points fingers and makes wild accusations, also leaving retarded vm's. He shows that he doesn't understand the meaning of patience or benefit of the doubt. (Fri. evening thru Sat. night)
4.) Helpful NW my350z members figure out that just 2 centers are swapped. (Sat. day)
5.) Triple8Sol finds out about the problem, apologizes, and immediately takes steps to resolve it. Talks to the shop, and they agree to remedy the situation at no charge when they have time later in the week. Clearly communicates this to currency(Sat. night)
6.) currency jumps the gun and "supposedly" pays to get it fixed himself within ~36hrs on the first following business day. (Mon. day)
7.) currency repeats step 3 in its entirety. Also pulls more accusations out of his ass. (Mon. evening)
8.) Triple8Sol re-explains everything that was already previously stated...in English...and calls him out. (Mon. evening)
9.) currency repeats steps 3 & 7 once again, showing that his toolbox is, indeed, full of both standard and metric sizes.
10.) Triple8Sol lets out a deep sigh, shakes his head, stoops to currency's level for a minute, drops a deuce, and washes his hands of the situation.

I really don't need to respond to you directly anymore. Anybody who read this thread in its entirety will be pretty clear on the circumstances. Feel free to continue the crazy talk, so you can cement your newfound rep. The only reason you need to address me directly again, would be if the shop doesn't call you within the next couple days. The wheels are already in motion, so they'll be calling you sometime soon. If you already took care of it, you're a certified moron. If not, then you're a liar, but at least it can be remedied easily. Oh, wait...you've been on my350z for exactly 40 days, and you've already been busted for lying in post #18: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/325861-so-a-dealership-sold-me-a-car-rigged-to-explode.html

This situation seems like it's getting a bit out of hand. I think that its a simple misunderstanding that has gotten to be a bit out of control. I don't know 100% of what happened but I believe that Pat's wheel shop is responsible for fixing it. It wouldn't even take long to take apart the two wheels and put them back correctly.

Pat, did you try to PM him the shop's info? I think that would really clear this up. I did notice the offset was kinda weird on the left wheel when I saw your car and told you about it but I thought maybe your car was just dropped too much.

Anyhow, again I think both sides should work it out. We're all Z enthusiasts and I think if you guys put yourselves in eachother's shoes you'll see why the other is pissed:

1. Pat have sold many things here and wants to maintain his rep as a good seller
2. Ty is having a headache because he paid a couple Gs for wheels that he has to fix which would **** anyone off.

I hope you guys can work it out and get this problem solved asap. I'd hate to see Z/G members pissed off at each other.

Ditto... Have some patience man. Those are nice wheels for a nice price, he will fix it. Pat may be an *** sometimes but he can't help his alpha male business man mentality sometimes but he is good people right Pat?

We always have a good time!
