Default need some help and opinions

first off i need help trying to find engine mounts for my 06 z...iv searched and looked around online...and all i found was a damper.... is that gnna be enough?

second...im looking for a front lip...what style do u guys like?

im looking at the greddy lip but i dnno if it would look good without the rest of the kit?...i really dnt have the 900$ for the sides and rear

well i have the Turbo-XS test tubes and the nismo exhaust and i keep cracking the welds on the test tubes and on the res.....i cant think of another explaination other then the mounts are bad....

im not using the test tube mounts anymore because they kept snaping off

it's test pipes, not test tubes...test tubes are what tito posted up.

i make solid mounts, but i'm sure the main prob your having is due to junk robotic welds. alot of them do not use filler rod in the welds and just melt the 2 metals together. creates a weak spot at the weld.

humm....well i rewelded every weld on the exhaust today...and within a day i already have a new leak.....i wont be able to get it back on the lift till thursday so yea.....pretty ticked off....i think im deff gnna buy a damper and if that doesent work then buy some solid mounts.....

I installed the engine damper and the plus was that there is less movement in the engine under torque. The down-side is that any engine vibration has an easier path to the frame -- more noticeable on decerleration.
Energy makes good mounts -- stiffer than OEM but not solid... IIRC.

jwinn, first350, and sdbarker are the locals that I know have that part. Many, many others nationally, though. It's basically a Stillen replica.
