I think what slowzster is saying is that if you try to put anything over a 10mm spacer on without either getting longer studs or getting spacers with their own studs then you are looking for trouble ...

Ok, fronts are on, ended up having to use a 25mm spacer but the way the wheel fits in the fender is PERFECT, I'll post pics later today !!!!

Just need to get the rears rolled and camber straightened up now!

 

i told you. i have 25mm spacer on the front and looks perfect. and yeah, Earny call Ray, he will do a meticulous job.

 

So, called Ray, booked in for Saturday, and I'm booked for an alignment and rear spacer install for new tuesday !! Yay !!

I am going to have to book with Ray one day. I just paypal some guy with 10mm spacers. I am going to put them in the rear. It will make my offset. +30 for a sedan on 20's that is pretty aggressive. I believe I am going to have to roll mine too.

 

hey - just replied to your PM...I have family in town all week, so I'm only online during work.

-when you start to push the limits of tire fitment, you'll need to measure it for your car...tire sizes vary between companies, your rear shock size can come into play, and the amount you roll your fenders will change things too.

 

I'm effectively running a +12 on 20's on the front and I should be +23 on the rear on a 10 inch, so that should be fine, if I find I have more room in the back I'll put it out another 5mm ...

That front fitment looks pretty good to me. Have you driven the G much with the new wheels? I bet you can feel the difference going from 19's to 20's, and wider/heavier too.

 

I haven't really driven it much yet, I had to stack a 5mm and 20mm spacer on the front so there is an unpleasant 55mph+ wobble, new H&R spacers should arrive today and then I'll sell the 20mm spacers ....

Even with the power....when you're not in boost. I think 3.3FD is a good idea for you. I went the other way with a 3.9FD a few months ago. Love it.

 

The front looks great. Have you decided what to do with the rears? It can be more aggressive Btw, do you live in Verona?

I'm gonna get the fenders rolled and then throw on a 15mm spacer and then fix the camber as much as I can ... although I don't really want to be running more -ve camber on the front so I'll probably only end up knocking off a degree ...

 

oh haha, it just looks like this apt. complex my friend lives in. Anyway, so you're saying you're at 19x10+23 and you're adding a 15mm spacer so you'll be 19x10+8 which should be really similar to a 19x10.5+18 (Volk GT-S offset) you'll be pretty flush with that.

Or are you saying you're at 19x10+23 WITH the 15mm already on there? If thats the case you might wanna consider a bigger spacer.You can definitely go more flush than the 15mm.

Are you running a 285 or 275?
