Slaw is a friend of mine. I just like to give him a hard time. I'm not a Kawi fan either. I've only owned gixxers (currently an 07 gixxer 1000). For some odd reason he likes Kawi's.

He wants a bike, but he also wants more whp for his Z. I figure he should think about getting a bike first for under 10,000 and save up for a TT. This way he would have best of both worlds (since he already has a Z).

 

Haha that makes sense. I'm savig up for my bike now instead of putting towards FI! I agree a bike would be a hell of a lot more fun than boosting the Z mainly cuz I won't have to worry about the motor going boom on the bike. PS: I'm a gixxer fan too...

For all of you out there that dont like Kawi's I think that they are one of the best looking out here, and I'm still deciding between a bike or TT for my Z!

 

Best looking doesn't always mean best performing (as I found out with my ex )

If you already have the car (the Z), you might as well get the bike. Best of two worlds. Besides, it's easier to save up 10 to 12 grand for another vehicle rather than a part that goes onto the car you already own.

having a bike is a blast, but i just drove way too fast. you feel kinda guilty doing 140mph on a public road, especially when you have 2 kids at home. so, i made a deal with my wife. i sold my aprilia rsv-r 1000,and she bought us an 05 Z. i miss the bike, but i use the z so much more than i ever used the bike. it was the right choice, especially when the Z gets some FI!

I think the exact opposites. The Kawi's are the ugliest bikes of them all imo!

Although, with any modern day bikes, they're all pretty closely matched. It really doesn't make all that much difference when you put a stock bike in the hands of the average rider.
