Default Greddy TT or APS TT kit?

I'm planning to purchase FI kit for my Z this summer. I narrowed it to 2 kits Greedy TT and APS TT. I need some help deciding I know that greddy doesn't come with everything needed and APS does but I heard that GReddy is safer than APS.

All feedback would be appreciated!!

Thanks

I'm a Greddy TT guy but I must contradict with your statement. I believe the APS is the one that comes with everything or sufficient enough to run safe and the Greddy comes with just the basics and you need to spend a lot more $$$$$$ to make it a safe set up.

I must say though I'm happy with the Greddy. Sorry cant be of more help but I'm sure the guys here will lead you the right way.

Good luck!

IF you could get both kits for about same price with both kits being complete setups which one would you get?

Just my $.02 but I would suggest saving the money and putting it into a built block and an ST setup. Much safer but If you aren't looking for that I would go with Greddy. Seems like a lot of members are running their setup over the APS. Nothing against APS but it's majority rules when it comes to my decision...

APS comes with everything you need greddy does not it all comes down to budget.
EDIT: as for the safety nither of them are "safe" they will both eventually blow your motor but if you run lower boost and make around 370 to 400 it should last a while

Between the two, I've always preferred the Greddy. The APS is now only sold as a full kit, which I don't like. I'd rather pick my own components like injectors, engine management, etc... The Greddy is available as a tuner kit so you can pick/choose what you want for the supporting mods.

Problem is finding a JWT authorized place around the NW to install it. I don't think WorldOne is authorized but I could be wrong.

I know they used to, but last I heard they no longer sell it. That's what a local shop explained.

APS's tuner kit is discontinued....On another note, go Greddy w/ all the goodies.

ZSlaw. That name sounds familiar. Yeah, I think I met you couple of times. You're that guy who thinks anyone who goes over the speed limit is a fool. So why look into a TT set up?

IMO you should think about a bike. Like a Kawi 600. Why waste all that money on something you won't get any use out of. Get a bike and that way you will have two machines.

No offense but buying a Kawi is a waste of many with so many other better bikes out there not to hate on them just my $.02

Im happy with my APS twins...it all depends on what you want to spend, and what your end goals are. If I am not mistaken, Greddy has the ability to make more power (if you build the block), but APS will spool up faster.

Yeah I heard that somewhere that Greddy has the ability for more HP output and also heard from an APS TT owner after he rode in my car, that yes APS feels like it spools faster.

Anybody know when it hits full boost? (assuming both are running say 8psi)

I'd choose quick spool over more power but if there isn't much of a difference in lag (IIRC twins generally have quicker spool compared to an ST setup) I'd go with the one that can be built better.
