I was there in the morning and got about 20 runs...I took off around noon.

my best was still really crappy:
-60' 2.2s
-13.7s @ 105 MPH
-I couldn't get a decent launch all day (2.19s was my best 60')
-I was having to moderate the throttle in 1st b/c the the rear end was breaking loose.
-I was having to shift a little softer into 2 b/c the rear end would break loose w/ a power-shift.

...I was on some old autoX R-comp tires...I thought they would have been better than my street tires for a launch - not sure what the problem was:
-driver sucks?? (I've done 1.9Xs 60' before...maybe I just forgot how)
-tires
-suspension (I'm on fairly hard springs in the rear)
-track conditions??

Why did you have that weird looking exhaust? No offense...
350z's have dual exhaust, why did you go single?

he wont need FI for corners. You would get him in the straights, but in corners, I think you would lose. On the other hand, I would lose in the corners to you Fusion, but I would take you in the straights.

Well, unless he is a semi-pro driver or better, I don't know if he can take me in the corners with a "street setup" (non R-tires).

I haven't tracked my AWD 335 yet (only my RWD 335), but so far cornering is INSANE...way better than the RWD 335. I have some suspension work done to it also. The only downfall is that my car weights 3750 lbs.

I know he placed pretty well last season for autocross. He is always out at the tracks, has a built suspension, and is a good driver...He hurt my feelings once.

Well, I don't have extensive track experience, only tracked twice...and so far I'm still learning the AWD, quite different than the RWD. I'm shocked to see how hard I need to push it through corners to break traction and even then the entire car starts drifting sideways, never spins around or anything like that. I a straight line I can't break traction even in the rain with traction control off.

So yeah, if hes a way better driver, then he might take me.
