Default Signed the paperworks - last day with my Z

Hey guys,

It's done. Got a homie hook up and signed the papers last night to sell my Z. She's completely stock now. I'm looking to pick up the Evolution IX MR tomorrow *crossing my fingers*. This is going to be super awesome to get to drive a manual. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic though haha. It's been great fun with you guys and I definitely don't think I'm losing all that much $ wise.

Yeah I took a small lost on a car but who doesn't on a used car (though I wished the Z would hold its damn value better! lol) But I definitely made many great friends in the past couple years (I still remember seeing Eric at Starbucks when all I had done was 19" G-coupe wheels haha) Now that I'm close to getting an Evo MR I'm excited but also feeling attached to the Z community and starting to wonder if I should spring for an 07 Nismo Z instead. It's not practical, it's almost the same car I had yet different. But if I spring for an 07 Nismo Z I don't have to worry about aquainting myself with a new platform and most important of all I don't have to park at the end of the line by Ernie....

...so what do you think. To Ernie? Or not to Ernie

That's a shame - One of the nicest Zs on the board.
Don't think you can go wrong with any of your ideas.

Thanks bro, I wished it was a 6MT instead of a 5AT... Oh well, it'll be good either way. I am not regretting my decision - just unsure on what's next. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the Evo. Just hope I can still stick around and be the outkast Evo in a line full of Zs haha

Hahah, that'd be funny as hell. If you ended up getting a Nismo instead of an Evo, Ernie wouldn't get his free "upgrade".

Why would you pick an evo over a nismo z? Are you looking for backseats?

When it comes down to it, a 350z is more of a adult sports car, the evo is always going to be a sedan with a huge spoiler and turbo. Although its a great car performance wise, I just wouldnt want the hastle of hearing fart cans rev at me whenever I want fast food. Ever since I switched from a srt4 to a 350z many things changed. Not comparing the neon to the evo in any way. But im sure alot of the compliments that you got with your Z from older people will sure change with an evo.

LOL Well I think I will be sympathizing with Ernie for sure if I end up with an Evo...with a Nismo Z - not so much But like someone say...it may be a 4 door but it'll be a fast one

The Evo IX MR is the top 5 handling cars to ever come to the US shores - and only 2 of the 5 that's priced under 45k. It's truly a legendary car no matter how it looks to some people. Plus I think it's a sexy car. I'm planning on buying this car for me and not for what people think of it. If I wanted people to think it's a sexy car or what not I could go get an M3 and I will have people ooing over it all day long. Actually I could have kept my original Z and I already get that effect. But that's not what I want. I want something I will truly enjoy driving.

The funny thing that everyone always says the Evo is not a sexy car yet I have shown pictures of the evo or just spoke of it to a few of my ladies friends including my fiance and they all think the evo is a hot ride. If it's not I'm sure Michelle would not let me get it haha. Either way, my attaching to the awesome Z community is the main draw to the Nismo. It's a great car but like I said if I wanted compliments I would have just kept my 350z.

The way I look at it is, if you get an Evo, then we will have a truely quality hook up for multi car meets

Get the Evo so you can do four wheel donuts

PERFECTLY SAID! Bravo! Bravo! I'm 25, and I was looking at the EVO, and the STI WRX. But I choose the 350ZR GT.

Haha true that...multiforum is in play for sure this summer. I just need to pull together enough groups such as Honda-tech, EvolutionM, S2Ki, NASSIOC (sp?), NWNissans.

Btw you GOT to make me an EVO with forza! Make it look exactly like what I'm building haha

when you get your Evo IX MR, you'll have to come out to an AutoX - I'd luv to see it in action! (and possibly drive it too??? )

I'd love to go to the Auto-X but I'm still hesistant to get into it because of the high cost involved in it We'll see. As far as driving it goes I think you'll like it better than the STI I test drove an 06 Alpine White STI and then the MR and I fell in love with the Evo hands down.

Man just like everyone said probably THE best looking DB Z. you won't be dissapointed in the EVO though... The 4G63 is my favorite motor and is very versatile. If you do get the mod bug it's a lot cheaper than the Z. Good luck and with the mods you put on the Z I can't wait to see if (more like when) you start adding things. Good luck with everything and altough my350 is of course the best, EvoM isn't that bad!!!

EDIT: No more worrying about window motors or random interior rattles!!!!
