Default i was bored today, so i made...(pics)

a radiator shroud!!! haha i made it out of plexy glass and painted the underside of the glass so u look through the glass b4 u see the paint...its drying right now but here are the pics so far

made a cardboard cut-out first


then cut it out of plexyglass


then painted the underside of the glass (1st coat)


so far its only painted...ill get more photos up soon

Nice! How much did that cost you then? $10 total with leftover paint and plexi? Make one to fit my G coupe!

Looks cool. Should have looked for a sheet of aluminum at the scrap yard, would with stand heat better.

i wonder how many sheets of plexi you went through to make that......that **** cracks in a second, also how thick is it? You might have clearance issues.....

plexi is actually pretty expencive!!!

it only took the one piece...its verythin so it doesent have any clearance issues...and i really only made it for fun and wanted to see what it would look like painted....but its real purpose is to make the aluminum one...cardboard wouldent have been a good cut-out and i couldent find any sheets of plastic anywhere, as wierd as that sounds haha
