In about 10 years I bet you will see the civilian military-vehicle market saturated with HMMWV series vehicles from the OIF/OEF buildups... Though a huge number of them have been destroyed. The Army is really trying to reduce their use of them in favor of newer vehicles more suited for our needs now.
oh ok thank you i understand now go get it. thanks everyone for being polite i wasn't trying to come off as an *** i was just really wondering why he would want that. Now that he explained it to me it makes since.
The Unimog is the only vehicle in the world that incorporates torque tubes, hub reduction, solid axles and coils springs and it is this combination that makes it one of the best off-road vehicles in the world and fundamentally different than other 4x4s

waiting for the guy to email me back again. it will take awhile to sell both my truck and trailer, and he was open to a couple different types of trades. so see if he wants to just trade both for his unimog. i should prolly ask for money back as my trailer has an $1800 awning on it alone and in perfect condition. he would be getting a killer deal to trade, but i think i could get pretty excited about making the mog a sweet truck and forget about the loss!

Its a turbo-diesel, not sure what sort of displacement or power as transportation is not my field. (also available in unarmored configuration, for better gas mileage)

Those armored LMTVs are so badass... Some units armored the cargo beds, and put like 4 machine gun mounts on the sides... We called them "Motherships", LOL
I would love to see one painted all black with all the guns mounted.
