[Pre-submit edit: Long post!]

Alright, I've scored a dozen uhaul boxes from my buddy who just moved. So, on the 30th after I get the keys, I'm going to move over all those pre-packed boxes with the help of him and his xB, as well as all of the drawers from my various pieces of furniture. Anything that's left over that's small, I'll get taken care of in the morning before the baseball game.

After the baseball game (probably around 5:30-6:00 or so) on the 31st (Saturday), I'll start making some calls and have whoever's volunteered head over to help get the remaining larger items moved. All that should be left is my TV (~60" if I remember correctly, rear projection), couch, loveseat, bed (which I'll disassemble after I make calls), two night stands, dresser+mirror (also disassembled and ready), and chest of drawers.

After all of that's handled, I'll only have my aquarium (55 gallons) to move, which is going to be kind of a slow, pain in the *** processes. That'll only take one person to help move, so if anyone wants to stick around and give me a hand with that, that'd be awesome.

All of that being said, if volunteers want to PM me their mobile numbers so I can make some calls when I get home from the game, that'd be awesome.

As far as vehicles go, I'm may have access to a big *** box truck. I should know about that in a couple days. I may also have access to a (actual) minivan as well as a Jeep Unlimited (which supposedly will fit all of this big stuff), so I think I'm set in that regard. I'll post updates if the need for a vehicle changes.

Dave, I'll let you know about boxes after I get the dozen that I'm getting tomorrow/this Saturday. Thanks!

I have to say, this is awesome. I never expected that asking to borrow a pickup truck would lead to so much volunteering for help moving, boxes, etc. Another reason that I love you guys!

Any particular beers that I should have on hand? Right now I've got 18 bottles of various beers that my brother got me that are re-creations of some of the first beers in America. I haven't tried them yet because I was saving them for a special occasion. I think that this qualifies!

I recommend a stake pocket flat bed truck unless it's raining. They load/unload very easy compared to a box van style mover.
