On a Friday no less...
Heading across 520 into Seattle this morning around 8:40 and traffic was slowing to a stop pretty quickly around the Montlake exit. I slowed down and stopped just fine, but the Chevy Silverado behind me didn't so much as kiss his brakes until about the last 25 feet to my motionless bumper. This is what a 40MPH rear impact looks like.

stfu tito! lol... I've still got two bicycles and a dirt board to go through!
The shitty thing was that I saw this guy coming, knew what was about to happen, and actually had enough time to sigh and say "aww, damn it." I just didn't have anywhere to go. My back and neck are a little tight, but it's nothing that beer and painkillers can't fix this weekend.
Anybody have experience with Lakeside Collision over there in Kirkland? That's where they're sending my car.

Tell the insurance company you can't get it up since the accident! You will get MILLIONS! Seriously sorry to hear hope you are ok, I was on 520 at 8:00 am with my Z, glad I didn't get plowed but the Mercedes drivers like to ride your bumper seriously!
Dude that sucks big time. But you could easily get quite a bit from insurance if you could claim physical injury. That's exactly what happened to my brother -he rear ended this guy and then the guy made a deal with his doc and ended up getting 1 million for no reason (he was TOTALLY ok and he even admitted that to the police officer right after the accident).
I say if you've got any pain just go to the doc and get the money from your insurance co. You won't get lucky twice
