hahaha, I just noticed that too. That is rediculous. That's like new tires every 600 miles on Colin's car.

Just got a good firm price on the RE30's with Toyo T1r 255x30x19 on front and Toyo r888 295x30x19 on rear ...

Just finalizing details and will be pulling trigger today ...

You should run 255/35/19 in the front instead, or 265/30/19

Yup, he's right. 255/30 is no good. Also, I don't mind running diff tires front/rear, but if you've got R888's in the back, those T1R's up front just aren't going to cut it.

What are the specs on the wheels?

I'm confirming the specs right now, specs on wheels are 19x10 +22 and 19x11 +25 ... I'll add spacers if I need to ...

I need to do 295/30 on rear because that is the only size the r888's available around that width, so rears are gonna be .6in smaller in height ...

Doing a 265/30 would definately be a better match so I'm confirming right now ...

don't put t1r's in the front, the car is going to understeer, and or have vdc issues

So, after talking to Sharif for quite some time he indicated that going with a T1r on the front is not really gonna be an issue so, trigger has been pulled, should ship out tomorrow ...

I'm excited ...

Just for the record, I really don't intend auto-xing etc but if I find that the understeer is really bad I will change to something more sticky down the road, just want to get this done and I at least want to match brands between front and rear.

So, who's gonna come round with a jack to help me change them once they are here, if they get here by BOTI I'm gonna need some help to get them changed.

You're prob gonna need a spacer in front to clear Brembos. Hopefully not more than 10mm, so it doesn't stick out too far. Rears should be fine, although a 10mm spacer will make it look more flush, depending on your camber.

I have a mail sitting in my inbox from injected performance that states that they do clear brembos (they state BBK but I asked about brembo) so I'm gonna be pissed if I need spacers.

But looking at this pic they could use a bit of spacing in the front ...

But this is the hottness!!!!

very nice man. I will definately help you out with swapping them out. I wish I would have thought of it a little bit ago, but eric and I both get 1/2 off toyo tires...I could have hooked you up on those since I want the r888's too.
