Default Getting new wheels ... need suggestions ...

So, I'm thinking about getting 9.5x20 and 11x20 Works VS XX in burning black, any comments from the wheel hoors??

I really want to go to something more classy so I'm trying to stay away from volks ....

Just for your considerations, there are many different lines from Rays, such as the Progressiv and Lexion lines, that are plenty classy. As far as upgrading your wheels, I'm all for it

Not that I got anything against Volks though they are hot wheels However I'm suggesting Works Meister S1. Hands down I believe there are the hawtest wheels for G35/350z.

However, in terms of "sickest" wheels that fits, this was my "dream" setup after having my 19x11 Meisters and realizing that there are more space to fit wider wheels I spoke to Hai about this and he gave me his expertise on the sizing.

Flat black or Hyperblack

Work Meister S1

Front: 19x10 +31 - Toyo T1R 255/35/19
Rear: 19x12 +29 - Toyo T1R 285/35/19

(yes I am suggesting a 19x12!!!!)

I'm not entirely sold on the Meisters for your car, Colin. As for what to roll, I still think that the six or five spoke is a good fit for you. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm a big fan of that style. The VS XX is far too lattice for my taste. But, it's your car.

Listen to your wheels master my Jedi, Meisters is da shitznizz! Plus, they make your OEM Brembos looks much bigger

It is possibly those pics that got me thinking about the vs xx ... and for the record, I can't stand the meisters, Alvin's car was the only car that I've liked them on, something about the proportion of spoke to that stepped lip ...

Well, I'm gonna try and get them on by BOTI ....

I still love the Meisters. There just aren't any other wheels except Pat's Junction Produce that gives the car the same feel

Work S1's don't really fit the bill for "classy."

Other nice, quality JDM wheels in a meshy style: SSR MS1, Volk SF-Winning, Work Varianza T1S, AME Shallen MX.

Do you think I should stay with 20" or switch back to 19" so that I can run R888's ???

I'm also thinking about the Varianza T1s ... I'm getting RS4 split 7's for my wife's audi and these will almost perfectly match the style

Edit: scratch that, varianza's will NOT clear brembos ...

+1 on the VS. Black would look smooth. What about gold?

Gold is a little too out there ...

I'm still waiting to hear back if the VS fit over brembos ...
