Default strut bars

does anyone have any problems with the strut bars hitting the hood. i have a plenum and i think its hitting my hood. just wondering if any one has any suggestion. they people i bought it from said it would work with the spacer. also is it ok for the strut bar to be touching the intake manifold.

It shouldn't hit but I have seen some strut bars lightly rubs up against the hood like the JIC Magic one.

You should be able to take some chalk or something and lightly dust the areas you suspect are rubbing. Close the hood and after running the engine for a few, you should see where the chalk transferred to other areas such as hood or strut bar.

My Kinetix engine cover was rubbing against the two forward hood supports but that was because I used rubber washers to soften the mounting location between fiberglass and metal. I was surprised to learn the 1/8 thick washer caused an interference condition....now I need to touch up the paint
