Saw this in another thread and thought this would be the perfect place to drop it:

People only began bashing him due to that fact he himself rocked a knockoff bodykit but has a problem with knockoff wheels. Oh.... the hypocrisy.

If you cant get the real thing then I wouldnt buy it IMO. All you are doing is helping some asshat that has no creativity and is making money off another persons hard work. I know this sort of thing happens all the time but it doesnt make it right. Chances are is someone was making money off your idea you woudnt like it.

i like to wet myself!

seriously though. I would rock some knockoff items on my car if they did the same thing as the real deal. I got my volk wheels because they are strong and lightweight. I still don't know if my bodykit is a knockoff or not...I really don't care either way. If it performs like it is supposed to, and how you want it to...then buy it. Especially if one is cheaper.

Hm... I dont know about all this mess. Let me just clear things up and be as straight foward as possible.

I wasnt trying to bash on Rotas, defend Rotas, bash fakes, defend fakes... Again to make it clear.

I was out to bash Alvin and Alvin only.

ONLY because of the way everything was carried out in that thread. How can you demand respect when none is given? Why bash when you're "known" on the forums. Why not take others responses and take them into consideration? Instead of just calling them a bunch of people who dont respect the "car-modding" world. If thats the case, what is Alvin? Please, this kid is not a god. So please stop going so crazy cause a few people called him an idiot or something...

Well, you might think I'm a "kid" but a lot of local would call me a friend. Just because I'm a bit younger (22) doesn't mean you can go around bashing on because of it. Why do you think they come in to vouche/stand up for me? You think they would just do it randomly. Think about it. And done! I'm out.

Just to be clear, I did not report your post. There's another thread where people are saying mods closed it because I'm a sponsor here, this thread I did not report.

The reason people are bringing up your age is because your post was very immature. You went back and forth and contradicted yourself many times. You were bashing a product you have no experience with and making false claims that were absolutely absurd. Rota wheels are very common on 350Z's (just look at the P45R gallery and all of the other Rota threads) yet you don't see posts of them breaking or failing, that's because they are strong quality wheels. For you to make a post saying "I hope someone doesn't die when their wheel breaks" is just uncalled for.

I understand you don't like Rota wheels and probably will never own a set, but don't spread false information around the boards. I'm the same age as you, should I ask you to stop bashing the products I put on my car and sell because I'm also young? Grow up...

I just think it's funny that people charge so much for wheels that cost $300 a set in the phillipenes.
