For all of the retards who decided to bash Alvin in the cheapo wheel thread...STFU and GTFO of our forum. I couldn't write anything on the forum because i read it at work and since they are blocking it now, all i could do is read with amazement. I couldn't believe what these cheap idiots were saying.
First off Alvin has been an avid Z enthusiast for years. He's been a big influence in the Z community, he has helped plenty of people on this forum, and has been a cool person outside our little website.
So since he doesn't have a Z anymore he's some sort of a poser? He gets bashed for owning a car and then selling it? How is it that more people didn't defend him in the thread?
Alvin has an opinion, which actually makes sense and people come in from other sides of the forum to bash him?
Lets just set this straight, the only people that hated the poor guy are either cheap losers and cheap Douche bags that make money off the cheap losers. I wont ever buy anything from these douches that go into other sections of the forum, bash one of the members because they only want to make money off of idiots who buy knockoff imitation wheels. If your going to sell imitation crap fine, don't ever go to our section and bash a memeber because it makes you look like the dirt that you are.
I honestly can't believe that other members didn't stand up for him. And good luck to the tards that buy cheap knockoffs and go to our meets.

i wasn't attacking alvin, i just didn't agree with his view on rota's.

and why are you so anti rota, but have some el cheapo generic D2 coilovers that are the same exact thing (different color) as a bunch of other companies out there: ksport, function and form, etc.

these take alot of business away from suspension companies that are truly innovative such as tein and jic and kw and zeal and etc

I have no idea what this thread is about, but I paid $420.00 for my set of immitation wheels and couldn't be happier, plus no one can even tell that they aren't the real deal.

You guys are all high and mighty huh. Why do you care what wheels someone else buys? If you don't like it, who cares. I have nothing against anyone, didn't bash anyone, but I find it kind of funny that someone would bash Rota's when they were driving an Auto Z made to look like a manual with a shift boot etc. If you don't like Rota's, fine, don't buy them. Just because someone else can't afford to spend $4k on rims/tires because their parents don't pay for everything doesn't make them any less of a person than the guy with Volks.

I can go buy HRE wheels, spend $10k on wheels and tires, but I'm not stupid. Volk's are a bit overpriced as well IMO, I don't like spending $4k on wheels/tires. Does that make me cheap? No, it means I have different priorities and different taste. I wouldn't rock Rota's or other knock off's, I probably will eventually get Work or Volk wheels, but I'm not going to be hating on someone who is rocking them. I have a bunch of friends with Ferrari's and Lambo's, Porsche's etc, none of them insult me for driving a lesser car. In fact, most of them really like my car.

I think everyone needs to chill out and just do what you do. If you don't like someone else's choices, that's fine because its THEIR choice, NOT yours.

Thanks bro, I appreciate the kind words. I don't get it either but it just seems like all of a sudden I get hated on for having an Evo out of the blue Oh well.

But to clarify, I do not care about what people buy. I do know that some people can't afford 3k wheels (or don't want to). I was upset that certain designs are being replicated and I pointed out the wheel quality issues. If people disagree, fine, but if they start throwing stones - hey don't expect to get nothing back. I didn't, I knew some people would come out of the woodwork and start hating on me. But that's ok, I just didn't expect some of the reasoning to be: "shut up you don't even own a Z anymore" because I always thought that our community was better than that.

IMHO, I appreciate the tuners who painted/powder coated their stock wheels more. It makes them look good and retains their OEM quality. And for anyone who wonders - yes I am a college student (now grad student) and I do work part-time to pay for all my mods and my car. Don't get it twisted

 

Oh and the people who hate on AT, don't be so ignorant. You do know a huge portion of the Z drivers own Autos right? And that the G35 comes stock with the shiftboot? Just because some people like it clean doesn't mean it's wrong. Shoot, I go around telling people I had an Auto Z. Who cares? And especially the local members you guys should know me better than that. I'm more disappointed at that than anything.
