i hate those guys from the van. IF you look at your paint closely, there will be trash in the clear coat. No ventilated room FTL.
even though you know it's a good deal for that price, i rather have something nice on my g35.

I'll def hold judgment until I see it in person. Price doesn't always = the quality level, depending how much you're getting hooked up. We'll see! But hey, still better than unpainted like how he's been rocking it for the last 4 months!

haha yea true that, definitely better than unpainted. It looks good until u get too close, theres minor imperfections but the rest of my car isnt in very perfect condition so it matches.
Oh and to HaulinZ, its not under the covers now, i dont know why they had it under there, but there was one occasion where a random man just got inside it and started pushing buttons etc so maybe that was why.
Oh and redlude the bumper was more like ~450 lol

Whew... When I read the title of the this thread, I though it was going to be about this:
http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/b...job/index.html
Apparently it works. I know a local guy that has done it to a another Ford Falcon and it came out surprisingly good.

did you not read what the OP wrote? He said the paint doesn't look good when you are up close to it.
Body work and paint is one of those things where you get what you pay for. No one in their right mind is going to prep, sand, paint, wetsand, buff for 100 dollars and it coming out right. You would lose money. Like i said, i've been around those guys who do work at major dealerships. I know the process.
I can even see bad orange peel where he did not wetsand in that camera phone pic.

He basically did it for the cost of paint. I cant remember the brand but its quality stuff I asked a few guys that I work with. As for wet sending, he wet sanded and buffed out the top part of the bumper, the flat facing parts he just left because he didnt want to buff away much of the clearcoat since that is whats going to be getting the rocks. Either way, $100 bucks is cool with me. I would rather the spend the $3-400 I saved on something more... functional
Thanks again for the feedback guys
