I wanted to ask the locals about on this..
I was wondering what you all think about Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilovers. Does anyone around here run them? Are they good quality? Worth the buy? anything..
Also, what would all you locals direct me to suspension wise. Let me know what you think about the ones you run and any other info..
thanks a ton guys.

ksport and all the other offbrand's like megan racing and d2 do not put nearly as much time and money into R&D as race proven products like Tien, JIC, Cusco, Zeal, etc
In addition to them all being unresearched copys of eachother with different labeling and paint schemes they are not truly 32/36 way adjustable like higher end coilovers, often times a setting of 15 and 30 feels the same.
With that being said, not only do you get an inferior product but you don't get the jdm ego!

thank you all for the good info so far.. and yes alvin, even the "fail" helped.
warmmilk, thanks for the links there.. good info.
I'm aiming for a mix of it all in the end.. The car will never see a car show, and I don't really race,, but I'll eventually do both performance and styling to the Z.

Forget most coilovers. Koni's and proper spring choice will outperform most highend coilovers. KW's Variant 3's are great as are others, but a lot of adjustments that can confuse a chassis tuner. Pay for a corner weight alignment a couple of times and you know what I mean.

I personally have used tien's flex coilovers and the adjustment is noticible between every 3-4 clicks.
true, it is a PITA, but you can always bring it down to a shop that knows what they are doing like speedware motorsports in redmond, and they can hook you up. I personally don't like the place, their salesmen treat you like you are a retard, and they are way overpriced, but they are very good at building track cars.
If you're in the Seattle/East side area I've heard Stage Performance in Kirkland is very reputable and not overpriced like speedware. It's behind the Subaru dealership and there are sevral other automotive tuning places in the same business park, one preps race porsches.
I've gotten my alignment and corner balance done at speedware - they knew what they were doing and cost wasn't too bad (IIRC $100 for alignment, and $150ish for corner balance). The guys in the shop were super cool - If I had lots of $$, I'd have them do it again...but when I have time, I'd rather do what I can on my own (to learn and be cheap)
