tires...
what tires do you guys recommend for dealing with the wet/snow?
i'm looking at 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 or 265/35/19.
just found a nail in a rear tire and i might just replace the whole set.

well don't worry about snow, cause it typically only snow's once a year (if that)
and as far as driving in the rain, just don't drive like an *** and make sure you have some decent tread depth

The problem isn't just snow though, it often gets very cold in the winter months, and summer tires turn into bricks under 40oC. Like I said on driver, just invest in a winter setup. There is almost no additional cost associated with it, other than the initial cost which is recovered in spreading out the tire wear.
The biggest issue like they said above is ice- black ice- melted snow that freezes and pwns you on hills and whatnot. Find something else to drive on those days or ride the metro!!
P.s. get a good set of tires that handle hydroplaning and or snow/ice for the rainy season.
Honestly, i wouldn't drive a Z in the snow. It gets pretty hairy in lets say Issaquah or something, or at least it did for a week or so in the past couple of years. Instead of snow tires i would suggest a cheap Subaru or something.
