thats why I found it humorous. I don't know why he has one, but I used to keep a bat in the trunk of all of my cars, the wooden sword just replaced it since I got it as a random *** gift from a friend.. lol

I've had a couple of scares involving a car full of people ****ing with me, I like the piece of mind knowing that if anything bad went down I'd be able to even the odds a little bit.

nobody else keeps something like that on hand at times? probably not a wooden sword, but a bat, knife, gun etc? anyyyybody?

when I say wooden sword, it's really like this, but its just sheer cherry wood, with no decals or handles or grips.. no handle or anything crazy looking, just a good beat down stick.

I know the mental picture of "wooden sword" is pretty funny, but it's slightly more effective then a bat. it's not going to break, it's not going to stab or slash someone, it's meant for martial arts practice and clashing with other wooden swords, it'll break some bones if it's ever needed. no ones pretending to be a ninja here ..

Dammit. I was imagining two pieces of wood nailed together and if you held it upside down, it would serve double duty and ward off vampires. Cuz that's where the real danger is.

Used to keep a bat in the trunk, back in the day. One sunny afternoon a couple Canadian cops decided to relieve me of it. Long story....well, not really, but yeah... Haven't really bothered since then.

I'd assume the sword is much lighter to swing too. I keep my golf clubs in the back, 14 weapons! hah

Did you yell "there can be only one!" before going after him with the sword?

Yeah I keep my KELTEC .380 concealed carry piece. You should check your local laws. If you used that bat to even the odds it is quite possible you could be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. If I'm going to be charge with use of a deadly weapon, its gonna be god damn deadly. If you can't justify the use of a gun, you can't justify the use of any weapon other then those specifically stated as non-lethal by statute. I.e. if you don't want to risk a deadly weapon charge you need to be looking at pepperspray or tasers.

Chances are if you need a bat you need to be walking the other direction. And if you really really need that bat, you really ought be bringing a gun not a bat.

Just my thoughts.

There were a group of teens arrested in a cemetery at night who were just goofing off but one was carrying a jedi light saber because they had no flashlight and the officer added the charge of carrying a weapon. I swear. I promise.

goddamnit i knew something like this was gonna come up. It's pretty much a replacement of a baseball bat. Personally I think it's more savage haha. C'mon you guys know it adds like 40 more hp for having a JDM wooden sword.

But update on the car, I'm not going through my insurance because my deductable is$250 and I think I can get the car fixed for cheaper. Already found a passenger side taillight for $65 bucks at a junkyard. Bob at Drift Office said he knew a guy that could probably fix my hatch for about $100 maybe a little more. Whatever hope those kids never return again... freakin high school kids that can't tolerate their alcohol = fail. I saw the kid drink he took like 1 shot of 151 and drank couple beers. wtf?
