Hmm I am also confused as to how the thread got so redirected. I'm a noob and have only been to one meet and that is when I first got the Z back in June. I met up with most of the "ED crew" and the regulars that post here. They were all cool and answered any questions I had about their mods. My .02, I never sensed any serious douchebaggery from anyone

Well after all the stuff I am dealing with, I feel the need to chime in. Let me start off by saying this is really immature and so unneccessary. Drama like this is setting a really bad scene for the present and future Z owners.
Now before I get jumped on and before the "bryce you are the worst one" type of remarks start. I am just as guilty as everyone else, I can admit I played into the "elitist douchebag" title. It was something as some of you know I represented really hard in more than one case. So as the person that would get the Z/G Communtiy together, I have failed as to letting new members the deal with it. Also truly sorry for the unfortunate circumstances it has brought this group. But here is something in the past couple of days I have learned. The "elitist douchebags" is what we were called, NOT who we are. I caught myself taking it to a level it shouldn't have gone.
As far as the whole thing about not looking at other peoples cars and staying in are own little group. It is everyone's desicion to either stay by the cars or go look around. And I know alot of people are saying "I will not give credit to someone for having a crap car",or "they say we hate, so im going to returned the favor". I for one have done the same but just like everyone else I will give the credit when it is deserved. It does suck when I myself am the target for the hate, when people know that I get this group together and show up and out. Labeled as much more than a d-bag. And having people I know not want to talk to me at multi-forum meets is not what I wanted. I guess " to get respect you got to give respect", is an appropriate saying for the situation.
So my peace has been spoken, I know I will get flamed and hated on. But as I like to say "it is what it is". I take responsibilty for this whole thing getting way out of hand. People have gotten hurt, treated in ways they do not deserve and I myself realized it was not right, and I apologize.
Members know what they have done and what was said, either behind someones back or in there face.But we are all different and sometimes you see the the real person they are. We are all grown and should be mature about it, So lets start acting like it.

I'm in no way pointing fingers at you or anyone else that I know and hung out with. The people who were originally part of the EDBs are my friends like you, Pat, Lev, Eric, Colin, Scott, Bryce, etc and I know you guys are joking. It's the NEW members who DON'T know it's really a big joke that are taking it the wrong way. Just like Killa beez or 350zlowlife or xtremspeed that takes it to a whole another level.
Take it for what it's worth but someone needs to let the new members know it's a joke. I know some of the new members will hate me for saying this but after seeing my buddy leaves the crew because of this is a little ridiculous. Anyways, I'm not here to try and start **** that's why the original post had nothing to do with it. Like I told Ceresoft, I take 99% of things as a fun joke and what I write on here should not be taken too seriously. The only exception to this is the misunderstanding both redlude and I had previously, which I apologized for.
I have met just about all the guys in this Elitest Douchebags group and have had no problems with either one of you guys. I understand you guys are a tight group and thats cool. I'm just here to go to some of the meets and hang out for a bit.
One other thing, I don't believe I have seen 350Lowlife do anything but joke around. I don't know about Killa beez, haven't read too much of his posts.
Try not to judge ppl, you never know if that person is the type that would give the shirt off his back for someone. Sometimes the sarcastic, dry humored indivduals turn out to be far truthful ppl (maybe not all, but some).
Stop the hating...geez didn't someone already left this forum because people hates too much. Better get it straight, the elitist douchebagery is turning into a REAL thing even though it started as a JOKE. Being known as douchebags isn't a good thing
