I just showed a girlfriend of mine the pics compared to my Z. She says the 350Z is timeless and can never get sick of it. Its simpler and sleeker in her opinion.
She said that the 370Z is too busy and would get sick of looking at it and that she would think that person is trying too hard hahahaha. Awww women

Most of the guys who have driven it in the 370Z discussion say its not much of a difference except for smoother quieter ride and only 1st-3rd gear is quicker then it feels pretty much like the 350Z. Personally I think Nissan hyped it up too much and is misleading the public. It's only what 1/2 a second quicker on the 0-60? Also they only cut 95lbs not 200. The trunk space is now shorter by 2 inches and only 3 inches wider due to ONLY the fenders, the rest of the body itself is the same width as the 350. The side profile and rear is attractive and so is the interior, but my girlfriend is right, i'd probably get sick of it. Oh well, maybe i will buy it
The car is better in every way. Shorter, wider, lower, lighter, faster, nicer interior, etc... The 370Z does look a bit odd from a rear angles, but think of it this way...there will be tons of aftermarket aero options. Looks-wise, I never hated it, the way I did with the G37, which has grown on me some, but not enough to consider it. The G37 got more power, but also heavier and bigger and worst of all, also lost the sleek/sexy lines of the G35. Even then, with a drop, wheels, and front lip, it looks so much better.
I hate the fangs in front, but a new front bumper will fix that. Maybe even some kind of lip will fix it. I'm sure someone will eventually try a DIY that looks good. I don't mind the head/taillights, and there may be other options for those as well.
I wouldn't be rolling on stock wheels for long, so I never care how factory wheels look. I don't think they're that bad anyways. Look at the 350Z oem 17's and those 5-spoke 18's...yuck.

They must be comparing it to the HR, and not the other motors. Even the HR is much quicker and responds better to mods than the non-HR's.
