Default started my oil consumption tests and...

so far after 1000 miles on the oil change, Nissan says i am 1/2 quart low!!!

so they went ahead and "called tech support" as they told me and are trying to figure out exactly what to do...

they now have me doing a second 1000 miles after they topped me off...im assuming just to compare the 2 tests

fingers crossed on a new motor!!!!

just an update...after 2000 miles of tests and failing that, Nissan took my car in and did their own testing for 4 days...

they gave me a call on monday and said that my car failed all of their tests and that i was going to be getting a brand new long block

so they gave me my car back and told me its going to be about 2 weeks b4 the long block arrives....

needless to say, I AM HAPPY!! once the long block goes in i am going to put a few thousand miles on it (to make sure everything is running ok) then the turbo kit goes on...

well, I run the act 6 puck sprung clutch with the act prolite flywheel...does what it is intended to do (hold the power) however it is an extremely touchy clutch as anyone that has driven my car can vouch for. That is the only one i've used so it is the only one i can comment on.

i have been looking at that one....im obviously trying to get one at a decent price....so my options are pretty limited haha

but is it touchy, bad? or do you get used to it and like how it feels?

That clutch is a royal BEOTCH! if you plan on driving your car around a lot , start working out now.

he knows...he had to drive it for a bit to bring it to a car show for me. You do get kinda used to it, but it still sucks. If you plan on getting power though, it does great

I have the Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch & flywheel from GTM. I like the way it feels. And its easy to drive in traffic.
