I guess I find it different when someone is outright trying to tell another member his family aint's **** (on purpose) vs just throwing obscure jokes across the room.

I bet most of you wouldn't stand for someone dissing their GF at a meet much less a man's wife and kid. Since I don't think I would, it might be better to avoid these meets. I hope not though. I had a good time at the last one I was able to make.

Not too sure how that could happen when someone directly quotes another and specifically talks about their family in such a way that it couldn't be mistaken for anyone else.
