Want Your Own Personal Photoshoot?
look like you guys could use a few tips or two from this guy https://my350z.com/forum/north-west/...s-of-pics.html
its good but its nothing we couldnt do, and with practice, we could easily do better, although his shots are nice they are repetitive and dont really show what photography is trully about, its not about the equipment you use (rigs) (although they are cool shots) its about blending the car in with nature and making it stand out in a way thats not boastful, but subtle
. maybe people will stop bothering me and offering money to take rig shots of their cars
. your statement can be applied the same with your over the top tone mapping (ie sub par)
here are more sub par pics i did

i really think you're relying too much on tone-mapping. photography is NOT about lame filters...
you came into the wrong forum. Everyone here is a photographer. Everyone here owns a 350z = present rice rocket. Ive seen plenty of oversaturated, overexposed, etc. etc. photographs on this forum and yours do not stick out from them. Come on guys give me something new here, same old angles, same old poses. this guy has a good eye for composition:

my last piece of advice is to look at other peoples' work and dissect what you LIKE and not bash on what you don't like. take bits and pieces from everyone's work and make it your own style. "biters will be eaten" - jabbawockeez

they are good photos though, ill give him props for that
I think you'd have done a lot better if you didn't jump in here and immediately get defensive with things like "its good but its nothing we couldnt do, and with practice, we could easily do better".
As it stands, you've shown us a bunch of samples which thus far nobody has found the '"WOW" factor' you mentioned. Everything looks like photographs we've all already seen. You haven't been able to differentiate yourself enough to pay a price for or to step away from existing relationships we already have with photographers that we know. And that's what you need to do to accomplish what you're trying to accomplish. And saying that you're better than everybody else (without the sentiment being shared) is surely not a step in the right direction for that.
Do what you said ("with practice we could easily do better"), and show us better. Take your time, get your style, improve your craft, and feed your passion. We'll see where things go from there.

G-Kid... I can't believe how you are reacting to people's comments. I'm sorry to say, but your photo's suck. Vince, Alvin, Adam and tons of others are doing work better than yours already here. Plus, they are actually friends with everyone in the NW (for the most part). I think you would have had a shot at getting some business if it weren't for your poor attitude, especially dissing everyone else' work and saying you can do better. If you can do better, SHOW US SOMETHING THAT IS GREAT.
Here's a guy that's really good, doesn't focus on Automotive photography though:
