Default Want Your Own Personal Photoshoot?

Hey everyone,

My friend and I (Nevis) are working on starting a mini-business and offering photo shoots at different locations and working to what you want in a shot, wether its scenery, angles, ect.

Let me tell you, we are not here to steal your money or cheap shot you with unfair prices and crappy pictures. Were here, both to improve our photography skills and <b><b> work with your cars to create photographs that <b> you enjoy. </b></b></b>

We will produce our images in a timely fashion and will deliver them via e-mail or prints (depending on your preference)

Price: 50$ (per hour)

Work that has been produced in previous months:

As you can see, his work is legit, and were here for <b>YOU</b>
We are flexible with times, except school hours since were both in school, but after 3 pm, any day and weekends are very flexible...you give us the time and will give you the location, thats all you gotta do!
PM me for serious interests! I need your numbers to work out a date/time/location!
and share this with friends!

So, not to demean what you're trying to do here, but your samples are WAY overly manipulated for the tastes of most of the folks around here, my own included.

Also, we have a couple local members that do the photography thing for the joy of it (read "free").

I'm not sure you'll have much luck.

you can't blame the guy for offering a service for money though. there are some folks who will do it for free or for a beer or whatever.. I see both sides anyways.

good luck. as said this forum will prob be hard to generate any money from though : P

hmm, well we will see how we do...and if we convince you that were getting better and your interested ill have to charge double

and the photography thing for them is just a hobby, were making it convenient for others that maybe dont have that hobby to get some photos taken of their car...im pretty sure this idea will work out and ill most likely be able to do a photoshoot with a bentley and aston martin so...

No problem with OP offering his services for a fee. sdbarker is just being honest with you, and he's prob right, for the most part. Besides, no forum is too thrilled about a noob that joins without really being a part of the community, and the first thing they do is solicitation.

i post on g35driver more than here and felt that i could reach out to a larger community here, seeing as 350z's are a dime a dozen..
and i understand his honesty, but no need to degrade, thats not necessary...in no ways am i trying to be part of the community just looking to interest others

not saying you aren't right by calling Z's a dime a dozen, but g's aren't rare either, in the slightest.

I have decided that I am offering a similar service now. I have an awesome 150$ panasonic lumix digital camera somewhere around 6MP, I will take pictures of your car and run an amazing amount of unrequired effects and plugins in photoshop to make your car look super kool.

you have a couple of good things going for your shots, locations are good and the camera quality is good.

“Pride is an admission of weakness; it secretly fears all competition and dreads all rivals.”

you guys are hating on the guy, cmon.lol. while some of the photos are a little overdone for me, there is nothing wrong with trying to make money off of it. photography should not be free, i love how parents tell me at games that my 4x6 price of $3 a print is too much and that they can take a same picture with their gazillion MP cybershot and print it for 20cents. well then go ahead and dont bother me.

there is nothing wrong with making money off of work, it was just a random advertisement since he has no intentions of sticking around, and we have a few photographers that do amazing work for little to nothing that are actually a part of the community.

Woah woah woah.

I want to get something straight here. I was busting on the guy at all. I was just making a couple points. I definitely understand and support what he's trying to do. I just don't think he'll find the results he's looking for here. That's all. Don't read into it.

these are nice shots overall. i agree they're over-processed and the jdm angles are a bit extreme. have any non tone-mapped pics? good luck with your business!

and just a side note, my father is a professional photographer in seattle and he said that the work that my friend and i are producing is good stuff, and ill agree some is a little over-edited, but its better than what people are producing here, and im not bragging its just a personal opionion
