Default Any entry level jobs? Portland/Vancouver?

My buddy is taking a pretty big hit in this economy and he just left his business last year but hasn't worked since December. Because he owned his own buisness for a while he doesn't have too much experience in any particular field. Anyone know of any entry level jobs near Portland? He doesn't have a degree but is a quick learner. I tried getting him a position at my work but they're not hiring at my particular site anymore. Please no sales/commission based jobs. The economy sucks and no one is buying anything. Thanks in advance. -Chris-

Yes ... Because lack of Bright light such as sunshine can lead to depression.
Such is the theory behind lightboxes and Tanning Salons.

I don't agree, I'm making money, but that's a different story. If he wants a commission job, I know of one if it comes to that.

Well I guess living here my whole life has desensitized me from cloudy day depression. I know I can't be the only one.
