after my front end destruction a couple days ago, i am gunna have to see what condition this thing is in after the schrapnel is removed. looks like nobody local had a new spoiler or front end for me. downforce on the front end is almost non-existant now. didn't realize how effective the set up i had was. it happened on 84 though, past troutdale, so look for blue parts on the side of the road!!

well, i'm looking at either the amuse front, or possibly ings long nose. i love the greddy one, and looks like i need only that and it would be repaired, but i am thinking of a change. thing is that it will be just as low and a full 'glass front will totally explode if it happens again, which, it will!

I can has headrest camera mount plz?
It only took me 30 minutes to make and it's made from aluminum (I was able to bend it with my hands and a vice). I screwed up on the mounting holes, hence why the outer hole is all fukced up. Oh well. And look, I have enough material left over for one more. It goes to the highest bidder.

What a blast! I had a very nice and uneventful drive with Sno to The Dalles, then the whole group made the trip to the Museum. When the convoy moved on to Maryhill road, we staged at the top for a meeting before beginning the days excitement. There were about 25 cars total and it seems like everyone had a great time. All I can say is this was the most fun I have ever had in a car and I cant wait to do it again!

I was parked on another hill overlooking the loop road and was using max telephoto on my camera. Was really hard to catch a car and most of the pictures were a bit blurry. I tried to sharpen up this one but wasn't entirely successful.....

Man, what an awesome event to attend. With the number of cars we had, it only cost each of us $15 AND they gave us an hour for free!
Here's everyone up at the top:
A couple shots of the road itself from the top:
Here's one of my runs from later in the day (it really doesn't look like you're going very fast):
And a couple in car videos:
Down:
Up:
These two in car videos were of my first and second run. By the end of the day, I was literally trying to get the rear end to break loose when coming out of corners and I couldn't get it to. The only time I would ever loose traction was when downshifting into second coming into a corner.
Here's the rest of the pics:
One of the event hosts had a bit of trouble with this corner. Thankfully, this was the worst spin out of the day and he (and his car) were both perfectly fine afterwards.
Getting set up for the final photoshoot before everyone heads to the winery.
And of course, the obligatory couple shot.
I have high res (3264x2448) copies of all these pictures; if anyone wants them, let me know.
