Just thought I'd hit up the locals before ordering one online.

The need for a capacitor depends on how many amps you're consuming compared to the amps your alternator is producing.

My last vehicle type offered two different alternators but my specific vehicle had the less powerfull one. The headlights used to dim when the bass was kickin' but my capacitor really minimized that.

I have a capacitor I'm not using but am not sure if I'm going to tweak the system yet.
