in walks the stillen series 2!! like the looks, air inlet good, aerodynamics good. 2nd best selling point is urethane! the best part= stillen is selling both the bumper and splitter for $670 shipped right now!!
it will flex (for when i hit something again) fitment will be spot on so i will save prolly 8+ hours in fitment and making a new front splitter. the combo shipped normally is like $1200, and i am a sucker for a deal, lol.
gunna give it till tomorrow to make a final descision, but i am prolly gunna head this direction. great price, rare looks, authentic product, can take some abuse, and i feel it will fit the look of the car.
now, since i am gunna be breaking out my paint gun again anyways. i will prolly paint over the flames, paint the outside wheel barrels body color, and paint the roof and hood vents black. since the car is nearly perfect and all my jambs are done, it should go quick and really change the look of the car. should be a jaw dropping event!!!

well, i didn't say the car would be completely bare of graphics, lol. ya, the flames look great in person, but not so hot in pics. not so good when your posting it up for sale nationally. i am not dead set on painting over them yet, but if i keep them, i will have to match them onto the new nose. pretty touchy to get a seamless match again. will almost be quicker to scuff and respray the rest. can do most all of it in one day.
If you like the longnose look, you've got the INGS, Chargespeed Type 2, Top Secret Super G-Force, Top Secret Type 2, C-West, Nismo V3. Not sure which of those are offered as a replica, though.

after finding the deal on the stillen, i am prolly gunna stay away from fiberglass. my car is dropped about 3-4" and my old greddy spoiler was about 2" max off the ground. all the long nose bumpers are gunna be as low or lower and hang out further making it even harder to not hit anything. being 'glass, it will blow up beyond simple or even possible repair and be like pissing money away.
honestly, one of the reasons i hardly ever used to drive the car was because i knew i was gunna hit something with the front. well now it has happened, and over with.
the stillen does not seem to be that low on a stock Z, so it will still look slammed on mine but hopefully give me about 2.5" off the ground. the stillen splitter is pretty thick also, so i will have alot stronger AND repairable front end if (should say when) i hit anything again.
i have been searching for hours for more pics of it though and i can't find anything. one guy had a few pics of a silver Z with the series 2 and it looked sick!! idn't even have the splitter. i can't find the pics anymore though.
one of the mods had that bumper and i am trying to get him to send me some pics of his old car before i buy it.
after reading some of the feedback on the forum, the stillen #2 does not seem to be a widely liked bumper. i personally liked since i first saw it. i am sure i can pull it off with the paint, wheels, and more importantly the stance of my car.
